The Steps
Step by Step- 01
Oil-control primer for the eye area
Take a small amount of oil-controlling primer and gently dab it onto your upper and lower eyelids with your fingertips. Blend it out with your ring finger until fully absorbed. You can layer a little extra on the T-zone and oily areas around the eyes to create a dry, oil-free base for your liner.

- 02
Light base to cover discoloration
Use a cushion puff to pick up a small amount of long-wear cushion foundation, then press a thin layer all over your face. Gently glide it over the eye area to cover dullness — don't cake on too much foundation on the lids, or it will crease later.

- 03
Set lids to lock in a dry finish
Dip a small, loose eyeshadow brush into translucent setting powder, tap off the excess, then lightly sweep a thin layer across your lids. This sets all oils and foundation on the lid surface — it's the most critical step to keep your liner from smudging.

- 04
Fill in soft, natural brows
Use a gray-brown brow pencil to lightly fill in sparse areas along your natural hair growth direction. Extend the tail along your brow bone into a soft arch — skip harsh borders and keep the overall look fluffy and natural.

- 05
Prime lids with light brown eyeshadow
Use a large eyeshadow brush to pick up a light milky-brown shade, tap off the excess, then sweep a thin layer across your entire eye socket. This adds natural dimension to the lids and helps the liner edge blend seamlessly later.

- 06
Mark a small triangle at the outer corner
Don't draw the full liner line yet. Use a brown gel pencil to dot a small mark at the outer corner, extending 2–3mm outward along your eye's natural angle to form a tiny sharp tail. Beginners should keep it short to avoid mistakes.

- 07
Fill in the lash roots in sections
Starting from the inner corner, use the brown gel pencil to fill in gaps between lashes in small segments. Don't draw a thick line right along the lid — only fill in the spaces between lashes, then connect to the small triangle mark at the outer corner.

- 08
Soften the liner edge
Use a tiny spoolie or the tip of a cotton swab to gently blur the upper edge of the liner. This blends it naturally with the eyeshadow above, eliminating harsh black lines for a softer, more natural finish.

- 09
Curl lashes and set them
Curl your upper lashes from the root in three gentle sections, then apply a thin coat of brown mascara. Sweep it upward in a zig-zag motion from the root — avoid clumpy spidery lashes. Once your lashes are curled, they lift the liner off the lid, reducing smudging.

- 10
Natural nose contour
Use a small angled brush to pick up gray-brown contour powder, tap off the excess, then sweep lightly from under the eye socket along both sides of the nose down to the tip. Don't shade the front of the bridge — leave a bright strip down the center for a more natural, sculpted look.

- 11
Cheek contour to slim the face
Use a large contour brush to pick up light gray-brown contour powder, tap off the excess, then sweep lightly from under the cheekbone toward the temples. Glide a light layer along the jawline too to define your face shape — avoid obvious harsh stripes.

- 12
Brighten the center of the face with shimmer highlight
Use your finger to pick up a small amount of fine shimmer highlighter, then gently dot it on the highest point of the nose bridge, the tip of the nose, above the cheekbones, and the brow bone. Blend it out to a natural glow — don't apply it over large areas, or it will make skin look oily.

- 13
Peach blush for a fresh glow
Use a blush brush to pick up light peach blush, tap off the excess, then sweep it in gentle circular motions on the apples of your cheeks. Keep the color sheer, blend it naturally with the adjacent contour, and don't go above the highest point of the cheekbone.

- 14
Sheer rose lip tint blended out
Start with a layer of lip balm as a base, then blot off excess oil. Pick up a small amount of rose bean-paste lip tint, dab it on the inner part of your lips, then gently blend it outward with your finger for a gradient bitten-lip effect that matches the soft overall look.

- 15
Lock in the full look with setting spray
Hold the setting spray about 20cm from your face, mist evenly in an X and T pattern all over your face. Let it air dry naturally — don't pat it with your hands — so the film-forming ingredients create a protective layer on the skin to further prevent liner and base makeup from shifting.
